- 8 oz Caramunich
- 8 oz Caravienne
- 8 oz Abbey
Hops
- 2 oz Hallertau at boil @60
- 1 oz Saaz @ 5 min
additions
- Whorloc clarrifier @ 5 min
Yeast
- Octoberfest blend - Wyeast 2633
Water
3.5 gallon mash at 148F for 60 min. 4 gallons sparge @ 168
Notes
Don’t forget the rest! Yeast was DOA. Repitched 3-4 days later and started no problem.
First glass is tasty though not as clear and not as deep red as I’d prefer. Still pretty happy. Too sweet may dump abbet fore a deeper crystal malt. Also more munuch malt.
